Real Good for FREE: Clark Art Institute Concert Series

Once again, the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown will once again host a series of five free weekly concerts throughout the month of July. The concerts take place on the institute’s south lawn at 6pm on Tuesdays.

Concert-goers can purchase barbecued fare at the concert or bring a picnic dinner. In the event of rain, concerts will be moved indoors to the institute’s auditorium.

Here’s the schedule of this summer’s free concerts at the Clark Art Institute:

TUESDAY (July 2): RED JUNE
In support of their recently released sophomore studio album, Beauty Will Come, the North Carolina trio offers a homespun blend of bluegrass, old-time, country and American roots music.

JULY 9: ACROSS THE POND
The Beatles tribute band led by Marc Clayton.

JULY 16: FUNK IN THE TRUNK
The Bennington-based multi-culti funkateers pump out a celebration of vintage Motown, soul and funk music from the ’60s and ’70s.

JULY 23: INCENDIO
The high-energy world fusion group shines a spotlight on bold, romantic Spanish guitar work.

JULY 30: THE JAMMIN’ DIVAS
The quartet – featuring members from Ireland, America, Israel and Australia – put a global spin on traditional and contemporary original folk music.
