THEATER: “The Sparkley Clean Funeral Singers” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. It’s opening night of the world premiere of Lori Fischer and Don Chaffer’s new comic country musical, melding the homespun charm of country and folk music with the joy of live theater. The witty, bittersweet tale finds harmony-singing sisters Junie and the in-and-out of rehab Lashley Lee Lashley back at the family business, Sparkley Clean Dry Cleaners, after they’ve flopped in the music biz. Directed by Martha Banta. Through Sunday, August 4.

THEATER: “Anything Goes” @ Proctors, Schenectady. The national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Cole Porter’s timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece.
