Beatles Vs. Stones?

I feel like I’m flashing back to the mid-’60s when questions like, “Who’s better? The Beatles or the Stones?” were considered serious music journalism.

Anyway, it looks like you’ll get a chance to make your own personal vote count with your attendance tonight.

Rolling Stones tribute band Satisfaction headlines today’s (Thursday, July 11) free Alive at Five concert in Albany’s Riverfront Park. Chris Dukes opens the show at 5pm.

Meanwhile, Beatles tribute band Imagining John, Paul & George (apparently Ringo is feeling a bit under the weather) is slated to take the stage at the Guilderland Performing Arts Center at Tawasentha Park in Guilderland at 7:30pm tonight (Thursday, July 11) for a free concert of Fab Four favorites.

Me? I’ll probably be sitting at home tonight wondering how much longer I have to wait to see Glad All Over, the Dave Clark Five tribute band…
