MUSIC: The Original Wailers @ Jennings Landing, Albany. At this week’s Alive at Five concert, the legendary reggae band carries on the legacy of Bob Marley, led by guitarist Al Anderson. UPDATE: Due to impending weather conditions, tonight’s concert has been moved – not to the originally announced rain site of the Palace Theatre, but rather to the old rain site of the Corning Preserve Boat Launch at Colonie & Water Streets, under the I-787 overpass.
DANCE: Momix @ SPAC, Saratoga Springs. The company will present its highly acclaimed production of “Botanica,” a visually spectacular performance that fuses elements of dance, theater and cinema to create spellbinding, larger-than-life images from the natural world. And prior to the performance SPAC will host an “Enchanted Family Night” pre-show from 6-8pm, free for all ticketholders. 8pm. $25 & $30; children & students $15.
FILM: “A Band Called Death” @ the Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. One screening only of Jeff Howlett and Mark Covino’s acclaimed documentary about the punk pioneering band Death. 7pm. $9.50; $7.75 seniors; $6.75 children.

THEATER: “Inflatable Frankenstein” @ the Daniel Arts, Great Barrington. Closing out the inaugural season of Mass Live Arts, a new experimental theater festival in the Berkshires, is one of New York’s most tenacious ensembles, Radiohole, with their critically acclaimed “Inflatable Frankenstein.” 8pm. $35.
MUSIC: Rock ‘n’ Roll High School @ Oakwood Community Center’s Lower Parlor, Troy. A mid-summer dance with a throwback vibe evening featuring a live band – featuring members of Babe City, Aficionado, Sgt. Dunbar, Sea of Trees and RESTYS, to name a few – paying tribute to the spirit and energy of ’50s & ’60s rock and roll. Lots of loud horns, surf guitars and singing along.
