LIVE: Altamont Fair @ the Altamont Fairgrounds

The Altamont Fair opened its gates once again on Tuesday, and plenty of folks from all around Nippertown and beyond headed to the fair for fun-in-the-sun, frisbee-catching dogs, fried dough and more.

The Altamont Fair – a three-county fair representing Albany, Schenectady and Greene counties – continues daily through Sunday (August 18). Gates open at 10am; the midway opens at 12noon. Admission is $17, a one-price, all-inclusive ticket that includes admission, unlimited midway rides, Circus Hollywood, all attractions, entertainment and parking. Festival-goers under 36-inches tall are admitted FREE.
