MUSIC: Philadelphia Orchestra @ SPAC, Saratoga Springs. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the tradition-shattering masterpiece, the orchestra will perform “The Rite of Spring,” led by conductor Gianandrea Noseda. MUSIC: Glen David Andrews @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. A member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame and a frequent face on HBO’s “Treme,” the singer-trombonist and his band whip up a great big spicy gumbo of New Orleans sounds form funk to jazz, from soul to gospel, from rock to zydeco. 9pm. $25.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: The Eddie Music Festival @ Pine Lake Park, Caroga Lake. A 12-hour marathon fest of more than 20 bands on two stages raising funds for a scholarship in memory of the late Eddie Lakata of the band Skyler’s Dream Team. FAIR: The Altamont Fair @ the Altamont Fairgrounds, Altamont. It’s Day Four of Nippertown’s largest annual summer fair with racing pigs, a lumberjack show, frisbee-catching dog show, fried dough, the midway and music by Joey Pucci & the American Longboards, the Jonathan Newell Band, the Nite Train Band and more… Gates open at 10am; midway opens at 12noon. $17. MUSIC: “Steppin’ Out with Ben Vereen” @ Belleayre Music Festival, Belleayre Mountain, Highmount. The Tony Award-winner brings his old-school one-man song ‘n’ dance show to the Catskills. 8pm. $36, $46, $56 & $66; lawn $26.

ART/FASHION: “The History of Fashion” @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. Featuring contestants dressed in period specific attire from throughout the ages. A panel of judges, including international artist Laurence Gartel, will be on hand to judge the event. In conjunction with the art exhibit “Then & Now” featuring works by Gartel and Don Rittner. 7pm. $18.
