FILM/MUSIC: “Waxworks” @ Albany Public Library, Albany. Director Paul Leni’s 1924 trilogy of horror stories centered on the wax figures in a carnival show. With live original soundtrack by Helicoprion. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Rev Tor’s Halloween Jam @ the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. Rev Tor’s 20th annual bash features special guests from the national, regional and local music scene, including Charles Neville, Aaron Maxwell (God Street Wine), Mark Mercier (Max Creek), Tony Thomas, Randy Cormier, Gina Coleman and more. The family friendly event – featuring pranks, gags, surprises, the famous haunted bathrooms, a costume contest with prizes and more – is a benefit for Moments House, a local nonprofit support community offering programs to those impacted by cancer. 7:30pm. $15 & $23; $10 children under 12.

BURLESQUE: Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque @ the Hollow Bar + Kitchen, Albany. A special All Hollows Eve party with plenty of ghoulish gals. With special guest host Scooter Pie. 8pm. $15.

MUSIC ON FILM: “Aerosmith: Rock for the Rising Sun” @ the Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. One screening only of Casey Patrick Tebo’s film that follows Steven Tyler & Co. on their 2011 Back On the Road tour of Japan. 7pm. $9.50; $7.75 seniors; $6.75 children.

MUSIC: Miriam Fried @ Williams College’s Chapin Hall, Williamstown. The violinist is joined by pianist Jonathan Biss in a program that features the works of Beethoven and Schumann, as well as Janacek. 8pm. FREE.

THEATER: “Polaroid Stories” @ Skidmore College’s Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater, Saratoga Springs. Directed by Eunice Ferreira, Naomi Iizuka’s play is a visceral blend of classical mythology and real life stories told by street kids. 8pm. $12; $8 students & seniors. Through October 30.
