LIVE: Chandler Travis Philharmonic @ Valentine’s Music Hall, 10/26/13

Photographs by Timothy Reidy and Rich Borden
Yes, it was Halloween weekend, but the truth of the matter is that the members of the Chandler Travis Philharmonic weren’t dressed up to go trick-or-treating. This is pretty much the same way they always dress when they leap into the spotlight to crank up their unique hybrid of Dixieland jazz and rock ‘n’ roll.
And if the full-blown Philharmonic wasn’t enough fun, the evening’s festivities also included performances by the Parlor, Sgt. Dunbar & the Hobo Banned and a great big ole mash-up/reunion of the Parlor with the Hobo Banned, in celebration of their new collaborative CD, The Apres Garde.
Yeah, it was that much fun…

and a wonderful night at Valentines it was…!! Thank You to all the wonderfully talented musicians who made this a memorable night for all present . Thanks Timothy Reidy and Rich Borden for the fine photos and Thank You the good folks at Nippertown for sharing them here ! Just a note -Chandler Travis will be returning to the area with his Three-O for a very special show at Caffe Lena -Friday evening Dec. 6th..when Chandlers longtime music partner, Steve Shook from the early years of “Travis & Shook and the Club Wow” joins them..this promises to be a great show to kick of the Christmas Holiday Season !
