First SPAC Rock Show of 2014

The winter snow hasn’t yet begun to fly, but Nippertown’s big concert venues are already gearing up for next summer.

Earlier this week, the Times Union Center announced that multi-talented hitmaker Justin Timberlake would be rolling into the downtown arena in July. (Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday.)

And now SPAC is in the game, too. Yes, the first Saratoga Performing Arts Center rock concert to be announced for the upcoming summer season is in the books. It’s a San Francisco triple-bill with Journey and the Steve Miller Band co-headlining, while veteran Bay Area funkateers Tower of Power open the show.

The tour lands at SPAC on Saturday, June 14. Ticket prices are still TBA, but they’re slated to go on sale on Friday, December 6. UPDATE: Reserved amphitheater tickets are $49.50, $89.50, $110 & $135; lawn $36. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday, December 6.
