Sly Fox & the Hustlers have been busy in the recording studio, but they’ll be stepping back into the spotlight at 8pm on Thursday (November 21) when they bring their soulful blues-rock sounds to the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park, opening for harmonicat John Popper and his jam-band faves Blues Traveler.
The Hustlers – featuring drummer Mark Tritico, trumpeter Kevin Hendrick, organist Tad Holz, saxman Luke McNamee, vocalist-percussionist Donna Marie Floyd Tritico and bassist Dylan Storm – promise to preview some of the original tunes from their upcoming CD, American Gypsy.
“Yes, we are all excited,” said Fox. “We have been involved in the studio, and once the CD releases this spring, we will start our U.S. tour in the Northeast and head down to play at South by Southwest in Austin by March.”
Tickets to Thursday night’s concert at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park are $20 in advance; $22 at the door.
