At the Parting Glass earlier this month, Saratoga singer-songwriter MaryLeigh Roohan celebrated the release of Skin and Bone by performing the entire album from start to finish – backed by a rotating cast of musicians that included Jason Brown, Joel Brown, Chris Carey, Meg Duffy, James Gascoyne and Sam Zucchini.
Roohan also joined Juston Stens & the Get Real Gang toward the end of their opening set to duet on “Strange Love,” which Stens originally recorded with Jessica Lea Mayfield for his upcoming sophomore album Share the Road.
NEXT: MaryLeigh Roohan’s throws another CD release party for Skin and Bone at WAMC-FM’s The Linda in Albany at 8pm on Saturday (November 23). Cuddle Magic opens the show. Tickets are $15.
