Is the Rascals’ Reunion Over?
Sixties rockin’ R&B hitmakers the Rascals were slated to kick off a three-week run on Broadway during the upcoming holiday season with their show “Once Upon a Dream Starring the Rascals.” But last week – just three days after their concert at Albany’s Palace Theatre – the band posted the following announcement on their Facebook page:
“Unfortunately, The Rascals planned return to Broadway next month has been canceled at this time. We’ll keep you posted on any further developments.”
Hmmm…
According to the Associated Press: “In a statement released Monday [today, December 3], the band said a scheduling conflict with producer Stevie Van Zandt prompted the cancellation of a series of shows set to run from Dec. 16 to Jan. 5.”
“A scheduling conflict with their producer?” Huh?
