Congrats to Dan McCarroll!
Here’s how to start the new year right…
Dan McCarroll – Delmar native and longtime drummer on the Albany music scene with such bands as the Kingpins, the Todd Nelson Band and Doc Scanlon’s Rhythm Boys, to name just a few – will take over the reins as president of Warner Brothers Records on Wednesday, January 1.
McCarroll has been serving as the president of Capitol Records and the Virgin Label Group since October of 2010.

I didn’t think there was any gig higher than president of Capitol/Virgin- wow! Burbank must look great with this weather. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
