MUSIC: Hot Tuna @ the Iron Horse Music Hall, Northampton. For almost four decades, after Jefferson Airplane morphed into the Starship and away from Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, Hot Tuna has played, toured and recorded some of the best and most memorable acoustic and electric blues music ever. 7pm. $55.

FILM: “Cousin Jules” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The lost masterwork of director Dominique Benichetti – made in 1973 but unreleased til now – details the daily lives of French farmer Jules and his wife living alone in the countryside. The result is a ravishing, totally immersive work, in which we not only enter into the subjects’ world but also into the very rhythms of their lives. 6pm. $8; $6 students.
