They said it couldn’t be done, but there it was on stage at The Hangar in Troy – a reunion of the Lawn Sausages. Call it an early Christmas present for Local 518 music fans of questionable taste…

Of course, it wasn’t pretty. Never was. Never will be.

But after a loong hiatus – although some might say not long enough – frontmen Jimmy Barrett and Artie Fredette got the old band back together again. They got garage-rockin’ combos the Mysteios and the Knyghts of Fuzz to open the show. They stepped into the spotlight. And they cranked out the classic “Cowtippin'” once again.

Only one thing could possibly be more frightening – the Lawn Sausages are threatening another reunion performance in the spring. You have been warned…
