Hip-Hop Happening @ the Albany Public Library

The next Music Matters workshop series at the Albany Public Library focuses on hip hop. Led by veteran Local 518 emcee Sev Statik, the series of six hour-long sessions gets underway at 7pm tonight (Monday, January 13). The sessions are free and open to anyone interested in learning the various musical aspects of hip hop, including tips and tricks to make your own beats and rhymes. No experience is necessary. Open to all ages.
