Re-Scheduled: Body/Head @ MASS MoCA, 3/15/14

As you may recall, the first big snow storm of the winter rolled through Nippertown in mid-December postponing or outright cancelling a big batch of performances, including the hotly awaited concert by Body/Head at MASS MoCA in North Adams. Fortunately, Body/Head has re-scheduled their MASS MoCA concert for 8pm on Saturday, March 15.

With their debut album, Coming Apart, the tandem of former Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon and free-noise guitarist Bill Nace have concocted a Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd-inspired, deeply improvisational set of music that is focused on churning, propulsive guitars.

All tickets purchased for the December show will be honored for the new date (which also happens to be Nace’s birthday). And priced at $20 in advance; $25 at the door, tickets are still available for the show.
