50 Bands Announced for Albany’s MOVE Music Festival
The newly expanded MOVE Music Festival returns to a variety of 10 Albany venues over the course of three days, April 25-27. The fest – now in its third year – had previously been a single-day event.
In addition to 100 bands offering showcase performances, the fest also features music industry panels. The keynote speaker will be David Novik, formerly of the Decca Label Group, RCA and Sony Music and currently of the music industry consulting business David Novick Enterprises. Other speakers scheduled for the fest include Chronogram‘s Peter Aaron, Modern English’s Ted Mason, Steve Theo, David Bourgeois, Calvin Rosekrans, Bob Tulipan, Allie Crystal, Josh Harris, Dawn Kamerling and Tommy Merrill.
Festival organizers have announced 50 bands – approximately half of the total line-up – who will be performing at the fest’s showcase events:
