Phil Samuels Memorial Concert @ the Low Beat, 3/1/14

Phil Samuels – a talented and beloved member of the Nippertown music scene during the ’80s – died earlier this year in California. Friends, fans and former bandmates will gather together on Saturday night (March 1) at the Low Beat in Albany to celebrate Samuels’ life and music.

The Phil Samuels Memorial starts at 8pm with friends weighing in with memories and stories of Phil.

Music is slated to get underway at 9pm with reunions of three of Phil’s bands – Iwa, Vertebrae and Capitle – as well as performances by Mark Boil, Chloroform Party and Phantom Signals.
