What a party it was… The festivities included singer-songwriter not an Airplane, comedian Greg Aidala, the vintage Americana duo Lost Radio Rounders, poet Dan Wilcox and a recycled fashion show featuring the designs and creations of Colleen Skiff, Amy Orr and DJ Carmen.

And to cap it all off, Local 518 favorites the Lucky Jukebox Brigade were slated to headline the festivities at the Upstate Artists Guild’s third annual Black & White Gala on Saturday, February 22. but sadly a couple of the key members of the band were indisposed and were unable to attend.

But with a bit of last minute finagling and lots of improvisation, assorted members of the Lucky Jukebox Brigade teamed up with Lost Radio Rounders and a few special guests – including banjoman Bowtie (from Ramblin Jug Stompers) and saxophonist Tom D’Ambrose (of the Sharks) – as they wound their way through a handful of high-energy tunes before wrapping it up with a rousing second line parade during a rambunctious rendition of “When the Saints Go Marchin’ In.”
