SPAC Announces New Concert

Yes, in support of his latest solo album, Spirits of the Western Sky, Justin Hayward is scheduled to step into the spotlight on May 15 at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield.

But Hayward will also be teaming up with his Moody Blues bandmates for a return tour stop in Nippertown later this summer. The Saratoga Performing Arts Center has announced that the Moody Blues will bring their upcoming tour – dubbed Timeless Flight Tour 2014: The Voyage Continues – to the Saratoga Springs amphitheater stage at 7:30pm on Monday, August 4.

The show is a pavilion-only concert, meaning that no lawn tickets will be sold. Priced at $39.50, $49.50, $59.50 & $75, reserved amphitheater tickets are slated to go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (March 21).

    No lawn for the Moodys? That’s exactly where you want to be for that type of show.

    catdeli, I do believe you can still sit on the lawn weather permitting of course if you choose to do so. I don’t believe SPAC security can legally force you to take your assigned seat inside.
