SPAC Announces Another New Concert

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Donald Fagen and Walter Becker will lead Steely Dan into the spotlight at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center when their Jamalot Ever After tour comes to Saratoga Springs on Sunday, August 31.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Walter Becker and Donald Fagen will bring Steely Dan to the road in 2014, taking their “Jamalot Ever After” Tour across the U.S. and Canada. The 47-show tour opens at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon on Wednesday, July 2, and concludes at Baltimore, Maryland’s Pier Six Pavilion on Wednesday, September 17.

Steely Dan’s most recent Nippertown performance was at Tanglewood in Lenox, back in July, 2011.

There’s no official word yet from SPAC or Live Nation regarding ticket prices, but tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 25, according to Steely Dan’s website.

UPDATE: Reserved amphitheater tickets are priced at $49, $59, $79, $99 & $125. This is a pavilion-only performance, meaning that no lawn tickets will be sold. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday, April 25.

UPDATE: In addition to Becker and Fagen, the band will feature drummer Keith Carlock, bassist Freddie Washington, keyboardist Jim Beard, guitarist Jon Herington, trumpeter-keyboardist Michael Leonhart, trombonist Jim Pugh and saxophonists Roger Rosenberg and Walt Weiskopf, along with back-up vocalists La Tanya Hall, Carolyn Leonhart-Escoffery and Cindy Mizelle.
