The Egg Adds THREE New Concerts

From roots-rock queen to prog-rock pioneers to counter-culture stand-up stoners, three big new concerts have been announced for The Egg in Albany. Tickets for all three new shows are slated to go on sale to the general public on Friday (April 18).

Since her incredible breakthrough recording Car Wheels on a Gravel Road in 1998, Lucinda Williams’ contemporary roots rock and country sound has won universal acclaim and multiple Grammy Awards, and the Louisiana-bred singer-songwriter has been ready, willing and able to call upon both her natural affinity for roots music and her familial literary tradition.

Bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, keyboardist Geoff Downes and singer Jon Davison perform 1971′s Fragile in its entirety as well as every track from 1972′s Close to the Edge, as well as more of the band’s greatest hits and material off their new studio album, Heaven and Earth.
