Real Good for FREE: Freedom Park, Scotia
Once again, Freedom Park in Scotia has come up with the biggest schedule of free community concerts in all of Nippertown – more than 30 shows in all, featuring a wide variety of music from rock to classical, from country to Celtic, from jazz to childrens music. And there’s more, too, including some puppet theater and a dance performance.
And it’s all free. Of course the extra bonus is that the park is right next door to Jumpin Jack’s Drive In, so there’s plenty of good summer-time eats, too. All the performances start at 7pm, and will be held rain or shine “unless there is dangerous weather.”
