The Egg Announces New Concert

Two decades into a recording career that began when he was just 16, guitarslinger Kenny Wayne Shepherd has built an enviable resume as an accomplished recording artist, a riveting live performer and one of the most talented and distinctive guitarists of his generation. He’s also emerged as one of the contemporary blues world’s leading lights, helping to spearhead a widespread revival of interest in the blues.

Last seen in the Nippertown spotlight back in March as a featured performer on the all-star Experience Hendrix tribute concert at the Palace Theatre, Shepherd and his band are headed back to town for a headlining show at The Egg’s Hart Theatre in Albany at 8pm on Wednesday, September 3.
