Real Good for FREE: Riverlink Concerts @ Riverlink Park

Always one of Nippertown’s best free outdoor summer concert series, Riverlink Concerts return to Amsterdam’s Riverlink Rark for another summer full of an eclectic array of music, from bluegrass to salsa, from indie-pop to big band.

All concerts will take place on Saturdays throughout July and August, beginning at 7pm, unless otherwise noted.

Here’s the complete 2014 line-up of Riverlink Concerts:

SUNDAY (JULY 5): Tony’s Polka Band, Amsterdam’s pre-emminent polka ambassadors

JULY 12, 4pm: “Riverlink Jamboree” featuring the Nellies, Locust Honey and Dark Don’t Catch Me Here

JULY 19: Almonte, a New York City salsa band led by singer and conguero Anthony Almonte

JULY 26: MaryLeigh Roohan, Saratoga Springs-based singer-songwriter in support of her latest album, Skin and Bone

AUGUST 2: Tropic Rhythm, firing up the dance rhythms of the Caribbean

AUGUST 9: Searson, a Celtic blend of high-energy fiddling, passionate vocals and step dancing

AUGUST 16: Town Mountain, blazing bluegrass straight outta Ashville, North Carolina

AUGUST 23: Skeeter Creek, the Local 518’s fave contemporary country band

AUGUST 30: The Joey Thomas Big Band, the swingin’, big band-era sounds
