The Egg Announces Four More New Concerts

So, we just got finished writing about one new concert at The Egg, when, lo and behold, the fine folks at The Egg add four more new concerts to its fall series. Tickets for the four new shows are currently available to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public on Friday (August 1).

Here’s the schedule of the newly added concerts for The Egg:

Saturday, October 11, 8pm
The iconic British folk-rock legend – and one of the world’s most critically acclaimed and prolific songwriters and revered guitarists – performs solo in support of his new album, Acoustic Classics.

Thursday, November 6, 7:30pm
$38, $48 & $58
Led by powerhouse vocalist Raul Malo, the brilliant and eclectic band brings their polyrhythmic brand of post-modern country for their Egg debut, including such favorites as “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down,” “Here Comes the Rain,” and “Dance the Night Away.”

Saturday, November 22, 8pm
Malian guitar virtuoso Vieux Farka Touré and Israeli superstar pianist Idan Raichel have created an inspirational collaboration and artistic kinship that defies all borders with their free-form acoustic culti-cultural music.

Friday, December 5, 8pm
Multi-instrumentalist Seamus Egan leads the quintessential Irish-American band who continue to define the path for the Celtic music world and drive the genre forward with fresh and unexpected arrangements of age-old tunes, compelling and topical originals and covers.
