CHANGES: Today’s New York State Food Fest @ Empire State Plaza

Due to the weather forecast, the concert by Latin jazz band Sensemaya – originally scheduled for 12noon today (Wednesday, August 13) – has been postponed to 12noon on Friday. Admission is free.

In addition, the rest of the music schedule for today’s New York State Food Festival has been moved indoors. Beginning at 5pm, the rest of the fest’s music – the Blind Spots (5pm), Soul Session (6:15pm) and headliner Eddie Money (7:45pm)- will take place in the Empire State Plaza Convention Hall. Admission is free, but chairs will not be allowed inside.

The Farmers Market has also been moved indoors to the concourse level of the Empire State Plaza from 10am-2pm.

Wine, cider, spirits and specialty food vendors will be set up on the concourse level of the Empire State Plaza beginning at 10am. New York State beers will be sold on the concourse level at the base of The Egg beginning at 5pm.

And a limited number of food vendors will be located outside under The Egg on the Empire State Plaza beginning at 5pm.
