9/9/14: Today’s Tips: Tuesday

MUSIC: King Crimson @ The Egg, Albany. The prog rock kingpins kick off their reunion tour with a two-night stand at The Egg. This is a very different reformation to what has gone before: seven players, four English and three American, with three drummers – Gavin Harrison, Bill Rieflin, Pat Mastelotto, along with Tony Levin (bass and vocals), Mel Collins (sax, flute), Jakko Jakszyk (guitar, vocals) and, of course, Mr. Robert Fripp (guitar). 7:30pm. $36.75–$43.75.
