MUSIC: Guy Davis @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. A master of transporting his audience to a creaking front porch, Davis stomps his way through songs ranging from soulful and moaning blues classics to playful and bouncy folk. THEATER: “Elf: The Broadway Musical” @ Proctors, Schenectady. The comic tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole.
