MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Albie-Bold as Love @ the Fuller Roadhouse Grille, Albany. Over the years, guitarist Al Von Schaff (Can’t Say, the Black Fuel, Lab Rats, These Are the Hits) has donated his time and talent to countless fund raisers and benefits, and now it’s time to give back to him as he struggles with his own medical issues. It’s a day of food, fun and music by the Lab Rats and These Are the Hits, as well as an epic open jam session, raffles and a silent auction. 2-6pm.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Frank Jaklitsch & Friends @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. It’s singer-songwriter Frank Jaklitsch’s birthday, and he’ll be joined by mandolinist Michael Eck, guitarist Bobby Long and bassist Kathy Quinlan in a benefit concert for Shaker Veterinary Hospital’s Save-A-Pet Fund. 8pm. $18.

THEATER: Sid the Science Kid Live! @ The Egg, Albany. Sid, Gabriela, Gerald and May from the hit PBS KIDS TV series “Sid the Science Kid” take an incredible journey through the five senses: sight, sound, taste, smell and touch, and discover that there’s a very special super-duper sixth sense. UPDATE: Due to technical considerations this show has been postponed to 2pm on Sunday, February 1.

THEATER: “Tigers Be Still” @ Curtain Call Theatre, Latham. Carol Max directs the regional premiere of Kim Rosenstock’s quirky, endearing dark comedy that follows the misadventures of Sherry Wickman, an unemployed, overwhelmed art therapist hiding out in her childhood bed. 8pm. $24.
