MUSIC: Dale Watson & His Lonestars @ The Hangar, Troy. Texas honkytonk legend Dale Watson is on tour for his most recent release, El Rancho Azul, his first official recording with His Lonestars, his regular touring band. Dubbed “the silver pompadoured, baritone beltin’, Lone Star Beer drinkin’, honky-tonk hellraiser” by The Austin Chronicle, Austin’s hometown hero Watson has flown the flag for classic honky-tonk for over two decades and 20 albums.

EVENT/FUNDRAISER: Spirit of the Valley @ the Albany Institute of History and Art, Albany. Celebrate the history of distilling and the blossoming boutique distillery movement in the Hudson Valley. Savor samples from some of the finest local distilleries, including Albany Distilling Company, Black Dirt Distillery, Hillrock Estate Distillery and Tuthilltown Spirits. 6pm. $25.
COMEDY: Jamie Kennedy @ the Comedy Works, Albany. Setting himself apart from his contemporaries as an actor, writer and producer, Jamie Kennedy co-wrote and starred in the movie “Malibu’s Most Wanted,” which finds him once again portraying the character, B-Rad, who he created for his WB television series “JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.” 7pm. $25.
MUSIC: The Syracuse/Siegel Trio @ Catskill Mountain Pizza Company, Woodstock. The bass-and-drums rhythm section of Rich Syracuse and Jeff Siegel is joined by saxman Brian Patneaude. 9pm.
THEATER: “How Water Behaves” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. The world premiere of Sherry Kramer’s zany comedy about the tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Directed by Gordon Greenberg. 2 & 7:30pm. $20-$60.
