Landlady at O+ Festival

Story and photographs by Timothy Reidy

REST FEST @ CAC Woodside, Troy (August 15 & 16): It was perfection for Careers, and so many local bands had great sets.

MOKOOMBA @ the Music Haven, Schenectady (June 29): Vocalist Mathias Muzaza has talent, stage presence and can dance. Great job for first time in America.

MAN MAN/GOGOL BORDELLO @ Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park (July 22): It was a spectacle and a lot of sweat.

LUISA MAITA @ the Sanctuary for Independent Media, Troy (March 30): This show had a certain vibe that carried the night.

MOTHER FALCON/AND THE KIDS @ BSP Lounge, Kingston (January 14): Awesome set by And the Kids; Mother Falcon does things their own way.

ROBERT RANDOLPH & THE FAMILY BAND/THE COMPACT @ the Bearsville Theatre, Woodstock (February 14): The Compact started strong, and Robert brought the party.

BLUE MACHINE @ the Ale House, Troy: I saw these Led Zeppelin covers that completely rocked and were in the proper setting.

O+ FESTIVAL @ various locations, Kingston (October 10-12): Landlady and Hand Habits were particularly strong in this weekend spectacular.

RODEO BARONS @ One Caroline Street Bistro, Saratoga Springs: I came in to relax one night and got a bit more than I bargained for.

Megafauna @ NaNola

MEGAFAUNA @ NaNola, Malta (May 4): They brought the rock to that show in classic style.
