The Egg Announces Two New Concerts

The Egg in Albany has announced a pair of new concerts. Tickets go on sale to both concerts at 10am on Friday (February 13).

Since he left the Drive-By Truckers, Jason Isbell has become one of the hottest artists on the roots music scene with his album Southeastern on just about every Best of 2013 list. Isbell’s powerful songs and live performances inspired the Americana Music Association to award him top honors for Artist, Song and Album of the Year. Singer-songwriter Craig Finn of the Hold Steady opens the show.

Friday, June 12, 8pm
French guitarist Stephane Wrembel, who wrote and performed the soundtrack for Woody Allen’s film “Midnight in Paris,” celebrates the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli accompanied by an amazing ensemble of musicians from New York and France including Howard Alden, Roy Williams, Sebastien Felix and Kamlo (guitars), John Intrator (violin), Nick Anderson and David Langlois (percussion) and Kells Nollenberger (bass).
