Bands Announced for FreshGrass @ MASS MoCA

FreshGrass – the bluegrass and beyond festival – returns to MASS MoCA for a fifth year for three days this fall. From Friday-Sunday, September 18-20, there will be banjos, mandolins and more echoing off the walls and through the fields of the North Adams gallery complex.

Three-day, all-fest tickets are currently available priced at $93; $83 students; $46 children age 7-16.

And now the FreshGrass folks have unveiled the first round of band announcements for the 2015 festival. Led by mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile, the Punch Brothers will roll onto Joe’s Field as one of the fest headliners in support of their brand new album, The Phosphorescent Blues.
