Troy Savings Bank Music Announces New Concert

It’s a busy, busy, busy day for concert announcements…

Let’s see, there were 17 concerts announced by Proctors in Schenectady this morning. Then a big announcement from the Rest Fest folks. Then a very cool announcement for the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs. And then the big summer-long schedule of free Rockin’ On the River concerts in Troy.

Ah, but that’s not enough for us music-hungry fans here in Nippertown, is it? The Troy Savings Bank Music Hall has upped the ante again with its first concert announcement for the fall season, and it’s a sweet one, as the Music Hall hosts “An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt,” who are quite simply two of America’s finest singer-songwriters.

The concert is scheduled to take place at 8pm on Tuesday, October 6, and tickets are priced at $38, $58, $68 & $78. Tickets are currently available to members of the Music Hall and will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday (May 15).
