FEST: The LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival

All Elvis, all the time…

If that sounds good to you, then Lake George is where you want to be this week, as the 2015 LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival takes over New York State’s retro-vacation mecca for five days of non-stop Elvis entertainment, including a three-day preliminary for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

Yes, beginning on Wednesday (May 27), it’s the annual Invasion of the Presley People…

Tribute artists will compete for over $10,000 in prize money in five categories – ’50s-’60s Professional; ’70s Professional; ’50s-’60s Non-Professional; ’70s Non-Professional; and Youth. This is an open enrollment contest with more than 50 competitors from all around the globe.

New this year is a special Thursday night “Elvis Meets the Beatles” performance featuring featuring Elvis tribute artists Cody Slaughter and Chris Connor, as well as Beatles tribute band the Liverpool Legends.

Other festival features which take place at a wide variety of different venues throughout the Village of Lake George include an Elvis collectibles sale, late night sfter-hours parties, a classic car parade, Elvis films, Elvis-themed cruises on the lake and a Sunday Elvis gospel concert.

WEDNESDAY (May 27)
Opening Night Ceremony & Concert @ Shepard Park, 7pm
It’s the free opening night kickoff to the 10th Annual LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival in Shepard Park alongside beautiful Lake George.

Opening Night Party @ the Adirondack Pub & Brewery, 8:30pm
Come start off the weekend right at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery.
Cost: Cover charge waived with a ticket package.

THURSDAY (May 28)
Past Champion’s Dinner @ the Shoreline Restaurant, 5pm
Join past LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival champions for dinner and entertainment.
Cost: A la carte dinner

Elvis Meets the Beatles @ the Lake George Forum, 7pm
New for 2015, a Beatles tribute act teams up with two of the best Elvis tribute artists.
Cost: Starting at $35 / Included in the ticket pacakage

Rock N’ Bowl After Party @ Lake George Lanes & Games, 11pm
Informal, late-night events with tribute artists. And you might even get a chance to sing along.
Cost: $20 for unlimited bowling

FRIDAY (May 29)
First Round of the Elvis Tribute Artist Competition @ Lake George Forum, 10am
The first round of a three-day competition which serves as a preliminary qualifier for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held later this year in Memphis.
Cost: $20 / Included in the ticket package

Elvis Cruise @ the Adirondac, 1pm
Enjoy a cruise with Elvis tribute artists performing on the Adirondac. While aboard, grab a bite to eat.

Elvis: My Way @ the Lake George Forum, 8pm
Starring award-winning Elvis tribute artist Chris Connor with opening performances by Bruce Stewart and Mario Kombou
Cost: Starting at $50 / Included in the ticket pacakage

Elvis After Hours Party @ the Boardwalk Restaurant, 11pm
Informal, late-night events with tribute artists. And you might even get a chance to sing along.

SATURDAY (May 30)
Elvis Classic Car Parade @ Canada Street, 9am
Cost: Free

Second Round of the Elvis Tribute Artist Competition @ the Lake George Forum, 10am

Elvis Cruise Aboard the Minne-Ha-Ha 1:30, 3 & 4:30pm
Enjoy three opportunities to cruise with Elvis tribute artists performing on the Minnie-Ha-Ha.

Elvis Dinner @ the Shoreline Restaurant, 5pm

Happy Birthday to the King of Rock and Roll @ the Lake George Forum, 8pm
It’s a concert honoring the year-long celebration of Elvis’ 80th birthday with Ultimate Elvis tribute artists Shawn Klush, Cody Slaughter and last year’s champion David Lee.
Cost: Starting at $60 / Included in the ticket package

SUNDAY (May 31)
Elvis Gospel Music Contest @ Lake George Forum, 9am
Elvis tribute artists will take to the stage to pay tribute to Elvis’ gospel music.
Cost: FREE / Donations to the United Way appreciated

Competition Finals and Awards @ the Lake George Forum, 1pm
The final round of a three-day competition which serves as a preliminary qualifier for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held later this year in Memphis.
Cost: $25 / Included in the ticket package

Festival Wrap Party @ King Neptune’s Pub, 7pm
Food, beverages and great entertainment to celebrate the end of the 2015 LakeGeorge.com Elvis Festival and the year Elvis turned 80! A birthday party for the King of Rock and Roll.
