FEST: Art On Lark

With Albany’s annual Art On Lark street party less than two weeks away, organizers have finally announced the schedule of live music performances.

The free festival – which takes place from 10am-5pm on Saturday June 6 – features a wide variety of Local 518 art and craft booths lining Lark Street from Washington to Madison avenues.

And, of course, there will be live music, too – but not as much as in years past. Two years ago, Art On Lark featured 12 bands on two stages. Last year, the music was pared way back to just four bands playing on one stage at Lark & Jay streets. This year, the fest is returning to the more traditional two stage set-up – one at Washington Avenue and one at Madison Avenues – but still just four bands, each playing three times throughout the day.
