Sponsored by the Lake George Arts Project, the inaugural Lake George Blues & Roots Festival took over Wood Park recently, showcasing a stellar line-up of local (guitarslinger Joe Lowry and his band, the Kevin Maul-led Mississippi Hot Dogs) regional (Mulebone, Atlas Gray) and international (the pairing of British guitar hero Albert Lee and steel guitar great and Woodstock native Cindy Cashdollar) talent.
