Two New Concerts Announced for The Egg
New concerts keep popping up on The Egg’s calendar, and we couldn’t be happier about that.
Americana faves Dave Rawlings Machine – led by Mr. Rawlings and his longtime musical partner Gillian Welch – are rolling into The Egg’s Hart Theatre at 8pm on Saturday, November 7 in support of their pointedly titled new album Nashville Obsolete. In addition to Rawlings and Welch, the band currently features bassist Paul Kowert (of the Punch Brothers), vocalist-guitarist Willie Watson (formerly of the Old Crow Medicine Show) and fiddler Brittany Haas (formerly of Crooked Still). Tickets are priced at $35; on sale date is still TBA. Stay tuned for updates… UPDATE: Tickets go on sale at 11am on Friday (September 18).
And speaking of Led Zeppelin…
Just last week, the Palace Theatre announced that it would be hosting Led Zep tribute band Get the Led Out for an upcoming concert. Now, The Egg has revealed that Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Experience will be stepping into the spotlight in the Hart Theatre at 8pm on Saturday, January 16 for a two-hour, multi-media retrospective concert of all your fave Zep tunes. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public, priced at $39.50 & $44.50.
