Halloween Eve with “Twin Peaks,” Secret Footage & a Spooky New Score @ MASS MoCA [Berkshire on Stage]

On Friday evening (October 30, the night before Halloween), the ghost of Laura Palmer will be wafting above North Adams as the secrets of “Twin Peaks” are unleashed on the unsuspecting Berkshires.

Commissioned by the David Lynch Foundation, “Keys Open Doors: The Hidden Life of Laura Palmer” is an adventurous evening that is a “Twin Peaks” junkie’s dream: a new edit mashing up the film — and the missing pieces — surrounding the mysterious last moments in the life of Laura Palmer. The live score is performed by A Place Both Wonderful and Strange, a Brooklyn-based dark dance-pop band equally inspired by Mr. Lynch and Janet Jackson. Dress as your favorite “Twin Peaks” character on Friday at 8pm at MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center.
