“The first record album that I bought? Yes, it was by Blood, Sweat and Tears and that was the name of the record, too, I think. It was their first album with David Clayton Thomas. It had ‘Spinning Wheel’ on it, and ‘40,000 Headsmen,’ too.”

’80s synth-popster Howard Jones rolls into the Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton at 7pm on Wednesday (November 4) with his solo show “Howard Jones: The Songs, the Piano, the Stories,” featuring such hits as “What Is Love,” “Things Can Only Get Better,” “Like to Get to Know You Well” and more. Tickets are$35 in advance; $40 at the door.
