What a great article idea, Greg. Journalists so often bash the Grammys, but I’m sure our readers get tired of that approach. This tells them who the most accomplished players are and it’s significant that not all of them are just playing the biggest venues.
Jon Cleary and The Absolute Monster Gentlemen played a deep-south gumbo of funk, blues and New Orleans jazz at Mountain Jam this year.
