The Egg Announces New Concert

The tribute band phenomena (or curse, depending on your point of view) continues to grow unabated…

The Egg – Albany’s iconic orb-sharped theater – already has five tribute bands on its upcoming concert calendar – the Wizards of Winter (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) on Saturday, December 26; Hammer of the Gods (Led Zeppelin) on Saturday, January 26); the Live at the Fillmore Band (the Allman Brothers Band) on Saturday, January 23); the Fab Four (the Beatles) on Sunday, February 21); and the Fab Faux (yet another tribute to the Beatles) on Saturday, April 30).

So, who’s missing? Pink Floyd, of course.

But that glaring tribute-band omission has now been remedied with the announcement of the Pink Floyd Experience at 7:30pm on Monday, March 7 at The Egg’s Hart Theatre. We’re guessing that you pretty much know what to expect…
