Win FREE Tickets to Henry Phillips @ the Madison Theater on Saturday

Stand-up comedian/singer-songwriter Henry Phillips has been seen and heard performing his twisted songs and stories on “Comedy Central Presents” and ABC-TV’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” as well as satellite and terrestrial radio nationwide. And on Saturday night (February 13), and you catch him live on stage for two shows at the Madison Theater in Albany.

His critically acclaimed albums – fusing mellow folk-rock ballads with psychopathic lyrics – have earned him mention in Billboard magazine’s “Critic’s Choice,” as well as acclaim from such notable artists as Moby, who refers to Phillips’ songs as “disconcertingly funny.” His semi-autobiographical comedy film “Punching the Clown” received the Audience Award at Slamdance Film Festival in ’09, and was screened at the Madison Theater earlier this week.

Phillips’ live stand-up comedy shows take place at 7 & 9:30pm on Saturday. Tickets are $15 in advance; $17 at the door. Adding to the laughs on Saturday will be Albany comedian Henry Phillips (no relation). No kidding…
