On Thursday evening (March 24) at 7:30pm, Toshi Reagon and her band BIGLovley step into the spotlight at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, and, yes, they’ll have you believing.

Reagon has graced the prestigious stages of Carnegie Hall, the Paris Opera House and Madison Square Garden, you can just as comfortable at a music festival, a local club or an intimate concert venue like the Music Hall. She has collaborated with the likes oif Lenny Kravitz, Lizz Wright, Ani DiFranco, Carl Hancock Rux, Nona Hendryx, Pete Seeger, Chocolate Genius and many other amazing artists, including her favorite collaborator and founder of Sweet Honey in the Rock, her mom, Bernice Johnson Reagon.

In recent years, the versatile singer-songwriter and charismatic performer has graced the Greater Nippertown stages of the Clearwater’s Great Hudson River Revival, Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center, MASS MoCA’s Hunter Center and Jacob’s Pillow.

Now she’s bringing her band to the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall for what promises to be a glorious evening of powerful, inspiring music. Tickets are currently on sale for Thursday’s concert, priced at $34; $20 students.
