The Mahaiwe Announces New Concert

Berkshires troubadour Arlo Guthrie is a mighty popular performer throughout Greater Nippertown, as evidenced by the fact that his upcoming Alice’s Restaurant 50th Anniversary Tour concert at The Egg on Friday, May 6 has been sold out for weeks now. Or has it been months?

Either way, when Arlo straps on his guitar, you’d better snap up your tickets early, so we’re giving you fair warning – Arlo Guthrie is bringing his new Running Down the Road tour to the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington at 7pm on Sunday, October 30.

Backed by his band, Arlo’s tour promises to focus on his extensive lates ’60s/early ’70s catalog, highlighted by the albums Arlo (1968), Running Down the Road (1969) and Washington County (1970).

Tickets are currently available exclusively to Mahaiwe members, and they will go on sale to the general public at 12noon on Friday (April 22), priced at $26, $50 & $65.
