MUSIC: Loudon Wainwright III @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. LW3 was one of the first shows I ever saw at the Caffe in the early ’70s, and he was something of a regular there before moving on to larger venues. Now he’s coming back for a rare and intimate coffeehouse concert. 7pm. $57.

MUSIC: Jazz Appreciation Month Concert @ Colonie Elks Club, Latham. Sponsored by the Albany Musicians Association, the concert features the Gals Who Play Jazz (1pm), the Scott Bassinson Quartet (2pm), the Phil Allen/Michael Benedict Concert Jazz Band (3pm) and the Mike LeDonne Groover Quartet (4pm). Lindbergh, Molly Parker Myers and Steven Patterson play over 100 roles in this wacky (and ultimately moving) examination of the pleasures and pitfalls of celebrity.
