FREE: Troy’s Rockin’ On the River Schedule Is Announced

The schedule of bands for the 2016 Rockin’ on the River concert series in Troy has been announced. And it’s easily the best line-up since the concert series was first instituted…

The concerts take place rain or shine at 5pm on Wednesdays from June 15-August 3. And this summer for the first time all eight concerts will take place in Troy’s Riverfront Park, rather than the Green Island Bridge parking lot.

And once again WVCR-FM is sponsoring a “Play to Play” contest in which the winning band will get the opening act slot for the July 6 show. To enter, send two songs on CD to At 6 with Vito, WVCR-FM, 515 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211. Entries must be received by Wednesday, June 1. DJ Vito Ciccarelli and BID Interim Executive Director Katie Hammon will judge the entries.
