Greater Nippertown has always been a stronghold for southern rock even long after the genre faded from popularity in other places around the U.S.

So it seemed appropriate that the 2016 Alive at Five concert series would wrap it up with one of the veteran bands from the ’70s heyday – Molly Hatchet.
